Our Loves
Majestic Oaks is a Bible believing church. We stand on God's Word as being true and relevant to our lives today. We believe God loves us and is passionate about people, therefore He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to sacrifice Himself on the cross to pay for our sins, so we no longer have to pay that penalty ourselves. That sacrifice was God's amazing love on display for us. It's this type of love that we want to display as we
"Love God" and Love People."
* Loving God *
There is a God and we serve Him daily. His sacrifice has rescued us from our emptiness and sin, which deepens our thankfulness and worship of Him. No, we are certainly not perfect, and that is why we need God's forgiveness and love in our lives. We yearn to follow Jesus' first command:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37
* Loving People *
God has given us others to love and encourage, to relax and have fun with, and to partake of life together. We long to share Christ's love with people by meeting them at their point of need and building them up using the various resources God has given us. By this we strive to obey Jesus' second command:
"Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:39
