Majestic Oaks Church is part of a movement that has a rich history of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ throughout the world to people of all races and ethnic groups.
This movement is called the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Founded by A.B. Simpson in 1887, the Alliance has grown from a small collection of independent churches with a passion to reach the world for Christ into a body of over 2 million Christians in over 75 countries.
Every year in the autumn months, the Christian and Missionary Alliance sends out American missionaries who are on home assignment to visit the various C&MA churches throughout the U.S. and facilitate missions conferences.
We will be hosting a missionary from Mali, West Africa for our Missions Conference this year. Tim Wright will be here to share his experiences in the mission field and to give us a taste of his vision to share the truth of Jesus Christ with people of all nations. Jesus has a heart for all people, and He commanded us in Matthew 28:19 to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
Maybe this year God will spark within your heart a passion to reach out to those who have never heard about the saving grace of Jesus, whether they be next door, across the country, or across the world. Join us the week of Sept. 22nd thru 25th, 2005.
