Years later, after returning to the States from the mission field, Don was given the opportunity to see his vision come to life in the northern suburbs of Denver. He began to recruit a diverse team of people with a variety of gifts and talents to join him in the exciting new endeavor. God led Don to Clay and Patty Bosh, a couple that shared a heart for evangelism and Michael Todd who is gifted in discipleship. Soon after, Scott and Cinnamon Schwinn were added to the team with giftings in administration and music. Drew and Chelsea Schofield added experience in worship leading and children’s ministry. The vision proved contagious, as Brian Kurbis, Bethany Balgaard, Brad Rettler, and Jolene Braband, college friends of Drew and Chelsea, soon climbed on board with a wide range of talents and abilities. The Staff of Majestic Oaks Church is excited to see God’s hand of blessing as His people join together in reaching out to real people with real spiritual and physical needs.
Today, nearly five years after our first preview service on June 5, 2004, we continue to see God's hand at work. We appreciate the help of our start up team, whom many of them have moved on to other ministries. The Lord has been faithful to replace them with dedicated workers from our own community. Three years ago, Matt Hayden joined our team working as the youth leader and later as our community pastor. In January of 2008, Matt resigned to persue his passion in music. In 2007, Fabian Armenta joined us as our youth Pastor.
